I am a Los Angeles-based culture writer and narrative filmmaker.
I write about art, science, technology, and lifestyle for a range of magazines and online publications, including LOCALE Magazine, Lateral Magazine, Model View Culture, Format Magazine, Parachute, BuzzFeed, The Inertia, and NiQOO.
The short film, “Those Little Monsters,” that I co-wrote and co-produced screened at The Other Venice Film Festival in Venice, CA as well as the Imaginarium Film Festival in Louisville, KY in 2016. Another short film that I co-wrote and co-produced, “Fashion of the Wolf,” will be released later this year. I am producing my first feature film, “Up on the Glass,” that I co-wrote with director Kevin Del Principe to be shot in spring of 2018.
I first discovered my love of storytelling at Dartmouth College where I majored in Biology and minored in Film and Media Studies. My studies in Biology led me to Costa Rica, Kenya, and The Bahamas where I conducted research on howler monkeys, elephants, and Anolis lizards. I later attended USC’s School of Cinematic Arts where I received my MFA in Screenwriting. I have been living and creating in Los Angeles for 6 years.
